After School Snack

Today I was bored and hungry...the perfect duo to motivate creaitivity in the kitchen. I love Lox and bagles, but I did not exactly want something that rich. I found a happy medium in the form of light and refreshing cucumbers. I cut up a cucumber into 1/2 slices and whipped up some light cream cheese with finely sliced lox. Add some chives and salt n pepper...bon appetit!!

If I could afford a brand new spring wardrobe and new bedroom decor it would be made up of two colors: teal and coral! I love the colors teal and coral individually, but together they are a matchmate in heaven. The other day at work I came across some new fabrics we got in and it was love at first sight! I need to make them pillows!

When all else fail...get crafty?!

I was bored and had nothing to do so I got out the supplies, plugged in the hot glue gun and went to town. I made two pillows! Both were anthropologie inspired, but I did the monogram one as a gift for my friend for her birthday and the other I am not sure what to do with it yet! I was asked to make all different styles of pillows, journals, keepsake boxes, and lamp shades for a in home boutique in May! I am super excited! It will be the first time anyone gets to see this side of me....scary, pressure? Ah!

Had a carb craving...what else is new! Decided I wanted pasta, but not just the plain old speghetti with marinara. So I got fancy and made a homemade creamy tomato cheese sause! So delicious and left me extremely satisfied!

I went vintage shopping in San Pedro! I love seeing history unfold itself in trinkets! Of course I found things I could not live without! Vintage Chanel...yes please!
